Position Summary:
The Data Analytics Manager will collaborate with DPD members and stakeholders to create streamlined methods for DPD utilizing business data from the functions including LBO (Laboratory & Business Operations). This role will leverage strong data analytics skills to effectively work with large datasets and leverage data for decision-making purposes. This position will regularly utilize data analytics software and collaborate with colleagues across diverse disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement intuitive work flows for capturing, tracking, managing, and reporting business-critical data including budgets (Op Ex and Cap Ex) and performance metrics and projections, within the DPD system.
• Develop and enhance data visualizations using sources such as Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Quick base and AWS databases to support strategic decision-making and operational transparency.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, understand organizational priorities, and ensure data solutions are aligned with business objectives and scalable for future growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Required Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years in business operations, data analytics, statistics, or data visualization; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Skilled in managing large, complex datasets
• Proficient with data science tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Sharp analytical thinking; detail-oriented with ability to interpret large datasets
• Proven ability to develop actionable plans and deliver results on time
• Effective working independently and collaboratively
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and multitasking
• Knowledge of drug product development is a plus
• Experience applying AI and large language models (LLMs) to design and implement innovative solutions
• Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft PowerApps (Power BI), Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite
