Role description
The client is seeking a Data Analyst (Contract) to join the Workplace Analytics team. This role will focus on building and maintaining data products and dashboards that transform workplace data (e.g., badging, visitor management, attendance) into actionable insights for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong SQL and Tableau skills, experience working with Snowflake and Airflow, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
What Youβll Do
Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, dashboards, and data products.
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, ensuring accuracy, performance, and security compliance.
Build and maintain data products that centralize and standardize key workplace metrics.
Collaborate with data engineers to design end-to-end data delivery architecture and ensure smooth data flows.
Perform ETL processes to prepare raw data for efficient Tableau consumption (Snowflake + Airflow preferred).
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with business partners and manage production deployments.
Optimize Tableau reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
Partner closely with non-technical stakeholders to ensure reporting meets business needs.
What Weβre Looking For
Required Skills
Strong SQL experience for querying, data transformation, and performance optimization.
Proficiency with Tableau for building and maintaining dashboards.
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
Familiarity with Airflow and Python for data pipeline scheduling and automation (nice to have, not required).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to work across technical and business teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience building reusable datasets or βdata productsβ for broader consumption.
