Description
The Data Analyst will be responsible for translating complex analytics into clear, actionable insights to support brand strategy and executive decision-making. This role will develop and maintain interactive dashboards, conduct ad-hoc analyses, monitor portfolio performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions. The Data Analyst will ensure data integrity across reporting tools, manage external analytics vendors, and apply creative problem-solving to uncover insights and address business needs.
Requirements

β’ Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track brand and portfolio performance.
β’ Enhance visualizations based on evolving business needs.
β’ Conduct deep-dive analyses to support new brand launches and optimize in-line brands.
β’ Monitor and analyze KPIs across a portfolio of assets.
β’ Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
β’ Coordinate with external analytics vendors to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
β’ Partner with patient affordability, FRM, Payer, and SP operations teams to inform access strategy.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and tools.
β’ Stay current with industry trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, or commercial analytics, with at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
β’ Experience with patient access and reimbursement analytics preferred.
β’ Experience with specialty pharmacy data and related analytics required.
β’ Experience with SP data at claim or patient level, including claim data such as CoverMyMeds or IQVIA LAAD claim data.
β’ Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, claims data, and specialty pharmacy data.
β’ Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, or SAS.
β’ Strong communication, project management, and storytelling skills.
β’ Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
β’ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
β’ Experience in nephrology, rare disease, or specialty pharmacy distribution preferred.
