• Develop and maintain semantic models, reusable datasets and Power BI reporting solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineers to define transformation logic, business rules and data quality requirements.
• Validate data and investigate discrepancies to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Produce dashboards, insight packs and visualisations that support evidence-based decision making.
• Champion data quality, governance and best practice.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support the development of a modern self-service analytics capability.
About You
You'll bring:
• Significant experience in data analysis, business intelligence or analytics within a complex organisation.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or another modern cloud analytics platform.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data from multiple business systems.
• The ability to translate business questions into trusted analytical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A solid understanding of data governance, data quality and dimensional modelling.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join an organisation investing heavily in its digital future while delivering services that make a genuine difference. You'll work with modern technology, influence strategic decision-making and collaborate with experienced professionals across data, technology and business teams.
If you're looking for a role where your analytical expertise can have real impact in the public sector, we'd love to hear from you.
