Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Waltham, Massachusetts (On-Site) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-driven professional to help translate stakeholder needs into actionable data requirements that support development, reporting, and downstream system functionality. Our team is looking for someone who can combine strong business analysis, data exploration, and clear communication to help validate solutions and drive adoption across technical and business groups. Responsibilities • Define business operational and analytical data requirements to support customer data platform implementation for master data management, analytics, and AI. • Elicit input from SMEs and stakeholders, then create flow charts, report mock-ups, and acceptance criteria to support feature development. • Perform discovery data analysis and data profiling across source and post-process data to align inputs, outputs, and business processes. • Present findings, requirements, action plans, and validation results to technical and business audiences, and support UAT, knowledge transfer, training, and daily scrum updates. Required: • 5+ years of demonstrated experience writing and documenting business and functional feature requirements. • Experience working in an agile development environment using scrum. • Experience with JIRA and Confluence. • Experience with Master Data Management data environments. • Experience with utility services data, such as field processes, connections, and meters. • Proficient in SQL data querying and data exploration; Snowflake is required, PowerBI is preferred, and Reltio is nice to have. • BA/BS in Business or a STEM discipline, and the ability to live within drivable distance to the Waltham, MA office.
