Role description
Data Analyst (Contract) – Power BI & Insights
Day rate: £300–£450 (dependent on experience)
Location: London (3–4 days onsite per week)
Contract: 3–6 months
Start: March
The Opportunity
We are looking for Data Analysts who enjoy turning raw data into meaningful business insight. This is a hands-on contract role focused on building dashboards, shaping data models, and working closely with stakeholders to translate real business questions into clear, actionable reporting.
The work is delivery-focused, fast-moving, and highly visible, ideal for someone who wants strong client exposure and the chance to sharpen their Power BI and data modelling skills in a commercial environment.
This engagement requires a regular onsite presence in London (3–4 days per week), working directly with business users and delivery teams.
The Role
You will:
• Build Power BI dashboards that deliver clear insights for business users
• Query and explore data using SQL and Databricks (analysis-focused, not data engineering)
• Create and maintain robust data models to support reporting and analytics
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into visual insights
• Support reporting across ERP and business systems, ensuring data is meaningful and accurate
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
What we’re Looking For
Essential:
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard creation and insights delivery)
• Working knowledge of SQL and querying data in environments such as Databricks
• Solid understanding of data modelling for reporting and analytics
• Exposure to ERP or core business systems and how data supports decision-making
• Strong communication skills — able to gather requirements and explain insights clearly
• Comfortable working onsite in London 3–4 days per week
Nice to Have:
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment
• Industry knowledge in finance, operations, supply chain, or similar data-heavy domains
• Experience supporting multiple dashboards or stakeholder groups
Why Apply?
• Immediate impact role with a March start
• Clear scope focused on Power BI, insights, and business value
• Strong onsite collaboration and stakeholder exposure
• Flexible contract length (3–6 months)
• Opportunity to be part of a wider delivery team (2–3 analysts in total)
