Job Title: Senior Systems/Data Analyst – MMIS Data Conversion Location: Richmond, VA – Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Duration: (14 months) Position Overview: The Systems/Data Analyst will lead end‑to‑end data conversion, validation, testing, and reconciliation efforts for the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) and MMIS-related migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep healthcare claims processing experience, preferably within MMIS or Conduent, and a strong background in Teradata, SQL, data mapping, ETL logic, and testing execution. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Conversion Lead full‑cycle FAS data conversion strategy, including mapping, transformation, crosswalks, and reconciliation. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for conversion logic, mapping rules, and validation outcomes. Work closely with ETL teams to ensure clean, accurate, and compliant data migration. Support architecture teams to optimize conversion performance and cutover strategy. Ensure all conversion efforts meet regulatory, audit, and business quality standards. Testing & Quality Assurance Develop and execute SIT, UAT, and End‑to‑End test strategies. Support testing of COTS applications and MES module integrations. Write test scenarios, test cases, and manage test data. Lead defect triage meetings and ensure resolution of issues across multiple vendors. Track, analyze, and communicate test results and progress to stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: Healthcare & MMIS Highly Desirable: Experience working with MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) or Conduent.
