Job Description We are seeking a strong Data analyst with SQL experience for a long term contract. On-site in Ventura is required, Healthcare experience preferred. ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES IN THE LA COUNTY OR VENTURA COUNTY AREA CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT. Job Description Job Title: Business Data Analyst Direct Report: Director of Data & Analytics Job Category: Data & IT Location: Ventura Role And Responsibilities • Develop reports using SQL, Excel, and Tableau • Support the build, development and/or implementation of data marts, views, and ETL processes. • Develop statistically sound reports on various population health studies Qualifications And Education Requirements • Must have database experience writing SQL queries (min: 2 years, max: 10 years) that are well documented. • Python Experience • Snowflake a plus • Tableau/Power BI/OAC experience • Knowledge of clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, NDC) • Ability to offer innovative technical solutions to streamline workflows and processes. • Enjoys conducting research and taking a business approach to solving problems. • Detail oriented with ability to manage projects independently. • Deliver enterprise minded solutions that are scalable, sustainable, and automated. • Coding skills for data analysis and data manipulation • Experience working with healthcare data sets (EMR and claims) • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Interest in growing their career in Data and Information Technology in the Healthcare domain. • Works well in a team to ensure quality work through cross validation and cooperation • Healthcare knowledge including how to create reports from the following data sets: • Encounters • Procedures • Orders • Pharmacy Additional Information Long term contract.
