Title Data Analytics Consultant Location Minneapolis, MN (Onsite) Duration Long Term Job Type C2C,W2     Job Description Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Analytics Support & Dashboard Development • Assist MPD analytic staff in developing and enhancing public-facing dashboards. • Develop internal dashboards to monitor Settlement Agreement compliance progress. • Create data quality queries and dashboards to ensure accurate compliance reporting, per the Settlement Agreement and related transparency requirements • Monitor project status to ensure alignment with the Settlement Agreement Data Plan and Accenture data assessment recommendations • Develop auditing analytics to quantify data collection compliance, particularly in areas affected by new policies. • Support/mentor Client analytic staff in the creation of dashboards required • Use of Force • Stops, searches, citations, and arrests • Officer-involved shootings • Provide clear documentation and guidance to Client analytic staff for internal use. 1. Governance Implementation & Mentoring • Participate in Data/IT Governance meetings and assist in implementing governance structures and processes. • Mentor Client staff to integrate them as ongoing members of the governance group. 1. Strategic Recommendations & Organizational Assessment • Evaluate current data analytics staffing levels and organizational structure within Client Implementation Unit and department-wide. • Develop recommendations for appropriate staffing levels, organizational restructuring, and upskilling plans to enhance Client information analysis capabilities. Qualifications & Experience: • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with agencies that have implemented a police pattern/practice investigation consent decree or similar negotiated settlement. • Knowledge of current public safety technology trends and systems. • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Tableau, and data analytics projects. • Experience in data quality assessment and development of compliance dashboards. • Demonstrated ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to analytic staff. • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Preferred Skills: • Experience in public sector IT governance and process implementation. • Familiarity with police reform reporting requirements and consent decree compliance metrics. • Strong documentation and training skills for knowledge transfer.
