We are Seeking a Data Analytics Contractor who will analyze and interpret complex datasets to deliver actionable insights that support business and technology decision-making. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to scope MVP needs, profile and validate data, and contribute analytical inputs to architecture, data modeling, and implementation planningβwithin an Investment Management context.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
β’ Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and recurring/ad hoc reports to communicate findings effectively.
β’ Apply statistical and analytical techniques to generate insights and support hypothesis-driven analysis.
β’ Partner with project teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical deliverables.
β’ Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
β’ Support MVP scoping and data profiling by executing analyses and profiling critical data fields (e.g., completeness, uniqueness, timeliness, conformance).
β’ Maintain and manage an issue/gap register capturing data quality issues, field-level gaps, lineage questions, and remediation actions.
β’ Provide analytical support to architecture and data modeling workstreams (e.g., entity alignment, field mapping, reference data considerations).
β’ Draft inputs to the implementation roadmap and engagement documentation (e.g., profiling readouts, data readiness summaries, key assumptions/risks).
Required Qualifications
β’ Demonstrated experience in data analytics (contract or consulting experience preferred).
β’ Strong ability to work with large datasets and deliver insights in a business-consumable format.
β’ Experience building dashboards and reports and working with data models.
β’ Familiarity with Investment Management concepts and common data sources (e.g., holdings, transactions, positions, pricing, reference/security master, performance).
β’ Proven experience performing data profiling, data quality assessment, and documenting findings/issues clearly.
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across business and technical teams
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $ 75 - $85 per hour.β― The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
