The role offers the chance to turn complex financial data into meaningful insight that directly supports pricing strategy, sales performance and commercial decision making. Data Analytics Engineer Responsibilities • Design, build and maintain AWS Quicksight dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable business insight. • Analyse financial and commercial data to support informed decision-making across sales and relationship management teams. • Work with large SQL-based datasets, transforming and modelling data to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability. • Analyse sales-related data to support performance reporting and commercial insight. • Contribute to analytical work that supports pricing, commercial strategy and product performance. • Partner with stakeholders across commercial, finance and technology teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions. • Ensure dashboards are intuitive, insightful and aligned to business objectives. Power BI Data Analytics Engineer Requirements • Strong experience delivering data analytics solutions using Power BI or AWS Quicksight within a commercial or enterprise environment. • Advanced SQL skills, including querying, data modelling and performance optimisation. • Proven ability to interpret financial and commercial datasets and present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience working with pricing, sales performance or lending-related data is highly desirable. • Financial services experience is beneficial • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities within data. • Similar cloud-based BI and analytics tools.
