Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer specializing in the data analytics space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, and management, with a strong focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Utilize orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Prefect for workflow management.
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS and tools such as Snowflake for data storage and processing.
• Design and implement data lake and warehouse architectures (e.g., S3 + Athena, Delta Lake).
• Develop and maintain data models, including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through monitoring, validation, deduplication, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and ensure continuity in data systems.
• Maintain clear and structured documentation of project logic, decisions, and maintenance processes.
• Apply advanced SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Follow version control and CI/CD practices for data workflows using tools like Git.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Prefect.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and tools like Snowflake.
• Expertise in data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
• Advanced skills in Python for data manipulation (e.g., pandas, pyarrow, pyspark).
• 5+ years of experience in data infrastructure and management, including data quality assurance.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices for data workflows.
• Experience with advanced SQL and database technologies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical work to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and proactively identify issues and opportunities.
