Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary Our Media & Entertainment client is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team! This is a hybrid role in Glendale, California. The team’s function is to provide data for business teams to analyze, not perform analytics themselves. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core Responsibilities • Work directly on data pipelines • Debug and resolve pipeline issues • Support testing use cases • Contribute to production code with peer review oversight • Focus on code quality and reliability Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) • 3 years of experience total • Spark experience • SQL experience • AWS cloud • Highly adaptable and fast learners • Strongly hands-on and execution-focused Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) • Databricks (preferred, not required) • Experience in mid-sized companies Key Competencies & Behaviors • Adaptability / Learning Agility • Hands-On Ownership / Execution Focus • Collaboration and Receptiveness to Feedback Work Environment • Location: Glendale, CA • Hybrid, 2 days onsite minimum Compensation & Benefits • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $65.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
