Job Title: Data Analytics Specialist 6 Location: Austin, TX Zip Code: 78701 Duration: 11+ Months Pay Rate: $74.63/hr. Keyword's: #Austinjobs; #DataAnalyticsjobs; Start Date: Immediate Job Description: Our Client is continuing to grow our Data Governance and Quality program to meet current and future business needs. The Data Governance and quality team is seeking a data analyst/developer to work in the Enterprise Data Governance team to gather, analyze and document datasets to help build artifacts for the Data User Community. Work under the guidance of the Data Catalog Program lead to perform tasks that will enable the further development of the Data Catalog. This assignment will require the candidate to work seamlessly with members of the Data Governance & Quality organization and our business partners.
Documenting business glossary terms and definitions for master data elements.
Opportunity to develop Data Governance dashboards and visualizations.
Support project deliverables to further support Data catalog, MDM
Experience / Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP tables and structures, business processes as it relates to the data is critical
Must be able to parse SQL view definitions to document calculated fields
Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff.
Ability to understand normal business functions
Must be people centric to build relationships across functions to develop data artifacts that will further build out the data catalog
Exposure to Data Catalog tools a plus
Experience in data analysis/profiling is a plus
In depth knowledge of MS Office platform - Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
Experience in working in MS SharePoint or Teams sites an advantage
Experience in process improvement and change management an advantage
Must be a US Personal

Builds data governance and quality competency where applicable for the entire enterprise.
Supports Data Governance collaboration and alignment with master data, data analytics and other DT process teams. RTX and within the Data & Platforms organization.
Exposure to multiple business units (Avionics, Mission Systems, Information management systems, and shared serves) in multiple values streams such as Strategic & Financial Planning, Pursuit to Order Capture, Design & Development, Produce to Deliver, and Service & Support.
