Our goal is to create positive change through advocacy and expert solutions. Role Description This is a contract-based remote role for a Data & Analytics Specialist. The Data & Analytics Specialist will be responsible for managing and analyzing data, creating data models, and deriving insights from data sets. Day-to-day tasks will include data collection, organization, analysis, and reporting to support various projects within the company. Qualifications • Proficient in Data Analytics and Data Analysis • Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Management • Knowledge of Data Modeling • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and remotely • Experience in the health and human services industry is a plus • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working directly with Medicaid claims, encounters, enrollment, and other Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouse / MMIS datasets in a data and analytics capacity and/or rate development capacity • Demonstrated ability leading small teams, delegating and reviewing work, and upskilling junior practitioners required; • Required experience using Excel to produce financial models incorporating the Medicaid claims, encounter, and enrollment data; • Working experience using Teradata SQL query client required; • Experience with Python preferred
