Our goal is to create positive change through advocacy and expert solutions. Role Description This is a contract-based remote role for a Data & Analytics Specialist. The Data & Analytics Specialist will be responsible for managing and analyzing data, creating data models, and deriving insights from data sets. Day-to-day tasks will include data collection, organization, analysis, and reporting to support various projects within the company. Qualifications β€’ Proficient in Data Analytics and Data Analysis β€’ Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Management β€’ Knowledge of Data Modeling β€’ Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail β€’ Ability to work independently and remotely β€’ Experience in the health and human services industry is a plus β€’ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field β€’ Minimum of 5 years’ experience working directly with Medicaid claims, encounters, enrollment, and other Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouse / MMIS datasets in a data and analytics capacity and/or rate development capacity β€’ Demonstrated ability leading small teams, delegating and reviewing work, and upskilling junior practitioners required; β€’ Required experience using Excel to produce financial models incorporating the Medicaid claims, encounter, and enrollment data; β€’ Working experience using Teradata SQL query client required; β€’ Experience with Python preferred
