Job: Data Annotation & Python Automation Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotation & Python Automation Analyst to support AI and data quality initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will focus on annotating and validating datasets, reviewing AI model outputs, and developing Python-based automation solutions to improve data processing efficiency and accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Python coding experience, a background in data validation and QA, and experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
Responsibilities
• Annotate, label, and validate large datasets for AI and machine learning initiatives
• Review and assess AI model outputs to ensure data accuracy and quality
• Develop Python scripts for data cleanup, automation, and workflow optimization
• Support enterprise data quality and governance initiatives
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets across multiple platforms
• Create documentation, reporting, and validation summaries for stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve data processes and standards
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, data annotation, or data quality roles
• Strong experience with data annotation and labeling processes
• Hands-on Python coding experience, including automation scripting
• Background in data validation, QA, and reporting/documentation
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in financial services or banking environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to Machine Learning concepts and workflows
• NLP (Natural Language Processing) experience
• Experience with Pandas and NumPy
• Cloud platform exposure: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working with JSON and APIs
• Visualization/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting AI-driven data initiatives
• Familiarity with automation and workflow optimization best practices
• Ability to work in Agile or fast-paced enterprise environments
