Role description
Lead the strategic design of a scalable, production-grade data reporting platform in Snowflake, focusing on stable data standards, multi-OpCo integration, and minimal disruption to existing workflows. Own architecture decisions, governance, and roadmap from Phase 1 through full production in Phase 2.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define future-state architecture for near real-time access at acceptable TCO.
• Establish "stable data" criteria, gap analysis, and prioritized MVP change plan.
• Design OpCo-by-OpCo integration strategy, handling 18+ sources (MySQL, SaaS CRM, etc).
• Recommend tools (Snowflake + dbt), estimate TCO
• Oversee production deployment, lineage/governance implementation, DR strategy.
• Provide technical guidance to Data Engineer and Delivery/Project Lead.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years in data architecture, with expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and multi-source migrations.
• Strong in data modeling, governance/lineage, ELT patterns, and TCO analysis.
• Experience with enterprise-scale integrations (10+ sources) and agile road mapping.
