Data Architect – Microsoft Purview (Contract) Short Term/Part Time Position - Inside IR35 Overview We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong Microsoft Purview expertise to support a client in onboarding and embedding Purview into their data environment ahead of a Microsoft Fabric go-live. Purview was deployed previously but is not currently in use, so this role will focus on activation, governance setup, and knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities • Lead the onboarding and implementation of Microsoft Purview • Establish data governance frameworks and best practices • Configure data cataloguing, classification, and lineage • Work closely with the client’s Data SME/Analyst to enable adoption • Provide hands-on guidance and ensure long-term usability Required Experience • Proven experience as a Data Architect • Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview • Experience implementing data governance frameworks • Solid understanding of data cataloguing, lineage, and classification • Ability to work in a consultative, stakeholder-facing role Contract Details • Duration: ~7–8 weeks • Engagement Options:1 day per week • OR 2 days per week (preferred for faster delivery) • Start Date: Early February 2026 If you are available and interested in this opportunity, please apply for further information.
