Role description
Must hold an active U.S. Secret (or higher) Clearance.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable cloud-based data architecture aligned with Data Mesh principles.
• Develop and maintain AWS data solutions using S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, and Lambda.
• Build ETL pipelines and domain-specific data products for analytics and self-service reporting.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, data catalog, security, and data lineage.
• Support Data Mesh platform operations, reliability, and cross-domain integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Work in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance and training.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Mesh.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Azure/GCP also acceptable).
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
