Role description
Must hold an active U.S. Secret (or higher) Clearance.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design and implement scalable cloud-based data architecture aligned with Data Mesh principles.
β’ Develop and maintain AWS data solutions using S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, and Lambda.
β’ Build ETL pipelines and domain-specific data products for analytics and self-service reporting.
β’ Establish data governance, metadata management, data catalog, security, and data lineage.
β’ Support Data Mesh platform operations, reliability, and cross-domain integration.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders and data teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
β’ Work in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
β’ Mentor team members and provide technical guidance and training.
Qualifications:
β’ 8+ years of experience in data architecture, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Mesh.
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Azure/GCP also acceptable).
β’ 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams.
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
