Job Description: Data Architect Key Responsibilities β€’ Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data. β€’ Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications. β€’ Develop database design and architecture documentation for the management and executive teams. β€’ Collaborate with IT teams and business units to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions. β€’ Ensure database solutions are secure, scalable, and meet performance requirements. β€’ Monitor and maintain data architecture standards and best practices. β€’ Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. β€’ Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role. β€’ In-depth understanding of database structure principles and data modeling. β€’ Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. β€’ Familiarity with data visualization tools and data warehousing solutions. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills β€’ Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. β€’ Experience with big data technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, or Kafka. β€’ Understanding of data governance and data security practices, particularly as it relates to Microsoft Purview. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
