Data Business Analyst

Data Business Analyst (Contract) £500/day (Inside IR35) | Fully Remote | 3 Months + Likely Extension I'm working with a well-known UK retail business looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a major enterprise data transformation programme. If you are currently operating as a technically strong Data Business Analyst and feel comfortable scripting/querying in SQL to support large data transformations, this could be for you! Key Skills: Data Mapping/Modelling SQL Scripting/Querying Complex Data Transformation Delivery Contract Details: • £500/day (Inside IR35) • Fully Remote • Initial 3-month contract with strong likelihood of extension You'll need experience with: • Producing detailed source-to-target data mappings at attribute level • Interpreting logical & physical data models (ERDs) • Strong SQL skills for data analysis, data quality assessment, joins and validation • Working with APIs, event streams and source system data contracts • Writing development-ready user stories and clear acceptance criteria • Agile/Scrum delivery environments • Collaborating with engineers, data modellers and QA teams • Stakeholder management, workshops and UAT support We're looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment while taking ownership of their work.
