Role description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a highly skilled delivery team supporting a large-scale data migration engagement for a leading FinTech customer, working at the forefront of modern data platforms and AI-enabled transformation.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into data-driven solutions.
• Facilitate structured workshops with key stakeholders.
• Working to agile methodology delivering across the phases of delivery, Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Go Live.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency.
• Produce documentation required.
Required Skills / Experience:
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in improving and streamlining data onboarding and migration processes.
• Proven experience leading workshops and engaging senior business stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in agile, fast-moving environments with evolving responsibilities.
• Familiarity with (or strong interest in learning) Generative AI tools for code analysis and automated documentation.
• Strong data literacy, including advanced SQL skills and the ability to navigate complex data lineages from raw to curated layers.
• Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure, including ingestion tools (e.g. ADF).
• Ability to analyse complex legacy systems and translate technical logic into clear business-aligned outcomes.
• Previous experience working in Financial Services would be very beneficial.
