Data Business Analyst Location: London (Hybrid - 4 days in the office) Contract: 6 months Who We Are Robert Walters is the world's most trusted talent solutions business. Who You Will Work With Our client is leading global asset manager who offers actively managed equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies across 17 countries. What You'll Do • Identify and examine intricate data flows throughout enterprise systems, encompassing IBOR/ABOR data across accounts, securities, positions, transactions, indices, and pricing; create comprehensive current-state data flow diagrams detailing attributes, transformations, and aggregations. • Assist SMEs with operational reviews, collect and record requirements from functional leads and end-users, evaluate demands for business changes, and prepare business impact assessments to facilitate transformation choices. • Establish project business analysis methodologies, oversee delivery, handle expectations and risks, track post-implementation outcomes, and produce documentation of current/future states including gap analyses. • Design target-state solution alternatives with architecture and data flow diagrams, outlining advantages/disadvantages and proposals; deliver analysis findings, recommendations, and action plans to business executives, stakeholders, and external audiences. • Foster connections with business leaders to grasp goals, spearhead major process enhancements promoting operational efficiency, productivity gains, expansion, and strategic priorities; collaborate with business architecture for enterprise-wide consistency. • Serve as intermediary between business leaders, stakeholders (e.g., Solutions/Data Architects, commercial teams), technical units, and external parties/clients to exchange insights, best practices, and guarantee effective initiative delivery. • Aid the business in grasping complex concepts through superior documentation and stakeholder engagement; oversee numerous high-level relationships organisation-wide. What You Bring • 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst • 5+ years specialising in Asset Management • Proven expertise in process mapping • Extensive knowledge of IBOR and ABOR data models • Skilled in data sourcing • Proficient in data mapping What's Next If you are ready to take the next step, apply now!
