Role description
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Technical Software Engineering Manager with a strong background in Healthcare and Salesforce to lead a dynamic development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural strategy and hands-on technical execution. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to make sound decisions on a complex, existing application (this is not a greenfield project). Your expertise will guide the team in leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, Health Cloud, and Marketing Cloud to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical direction, architectural guidance, and ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Architecture & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and design scalable, robust programmatic solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Development & Execution: Engage in the development lifecycle, utilizing Apex, LWC, Java, and JavaScript to build and optimize complex business logic and integrations.
Data Strategy: Lead data modeling efforts and architect solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud to unify and activate customer data.
Integration Management: Design and build services using Salesforce APIs to ensure seamless connectivity with external systems.
Platform Governance: Ensure all custom configurations (objects, formula fields, workflows, views) and code comply with defined frameworks and enterprise standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Industry Experience: Must have experience working in the Healthcare industry (e.g., Healthcare Cloud, provider systems, or payer systems).
Salesforce Expertise: Approximately 10 years of experience with Salesforce, specifically including Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Java, and/or JavaScript.
Data Cloud: Strong experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is required, including hands-on experience with data modeling and identity resolution.
Certification: Must be Salesforce Developer Certified (Platform Developer I or II). Additional architecture certifications (Application or System Architect) are a significant plus.
Integration: Proven experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Bulk) and building integrations with external enterprise systems.
Leadership: Prior experience acting as a Lead Developer or Engineering Manager, with excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Pay: $59,976.60 - $72,229.88 per year
