Data Conversion Operator

Are you highly skilled in Excel, data analysis, and manufacturing reporting? We're seeking a Data Coordinator to support our Coating Department by collecting, organizing, and analyzing production and operational data that drives business performance and decision-making. Fairport, NY (Onsite) Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 6-Month Contract with Potential Extension Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Responsibilities: • Collect and compile production, quality, downtime, and operational data • Maintain accurate records within spreadsheets, databases, and internal tracking systems • Generate routine reports and dashboards for department leadership • Analyze trends, KPIs, and performance metrics to support operational improvements • Review source documents for completeness and accuracy • Identify data discrepancies and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues • Support special projects and reporting initiatives as needed • Maintain confidentiality of company and departmental information Qualifications: • 1-3+ years of experience in data entry, reporting, administrative support, or manufacturing documentation • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and reporting • Experience analyzing production or operational data within a manufacturing environment • Power BI experience strongly preferred for reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization • Experience with ERP, MES, or production tracking systems is a plus • Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
