Role description
Title: Data & Document Management Analyst Location: Bronx, NY Job Type: Contract 12+ months Work Mode: Hybrid Role Pay Rate Range: $35-$40 an hour based on experience Interview Mode: 1-2 rounds, first round will be MS Teams Job Overview: This Fortune 500 Utilities Company is looking for a Data & Document Management Analyst to provide data reports and visualizations, manage various SharePoint sites, maintain internal network drives, and administer document management software. Analyst will also be required to write procedures in support of the various programs and software utilized by the group. The Business Analyst shall be proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Windows computer use, and file operations is essential. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Maintain and update a database of specifications, SharePoint, Spark (client’s AI platform), and other software(s). β€’ Follow up with Gas Operations personnel and ensure all inquiries are managed in a timely manner. β€’ Prepare and revise Company specifications in conformance with PSC, DOT, OSHA and other laws and regulations, and peer check the same for other authors. β€’ Provide interpretation of specifications and codes. β€’ Support R&D projects and industry developments associated with gas construction, distribution, and maintenance. β€’ Analyst will be required to create, update, or revise Excel macros and queries as needed. β€’ Field observations may be required. Required Qualifications: β€’ Capable of exercising independent judgment and making sound decisions. β€’ Capable of preparing and presenting to teams in meetings. β€’ Computer proficiency required. β€’ MS Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio, OneDrive, and SharePoint (Classic & Cloud-based) experience required. Extensive knowledge of Word and Excel. Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to manage multiple assignments. β€’ Capable of managing and maintaining a SharePoint site. β€’ Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to manage multiple assignments. β€’ Must have the ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate with stakeholders (internally & externally) in support of department efforts and projects. β€’ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel on all levels, required. β€’ Strong organizational and administrative Skills required. β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills required. β€’ Working knowledge of or proficiency in SQL, Network Drives and applications, advanced file operations, AutoCAD, Adobe Professional and AI platforms such as API and CES. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local gas regulations and PHMSA requirements, a big plus. β€’ Ability to create and assist customers in the creation and revision of training documents. β€’ Ability to train and support internal customers in departmental procedures and tools (document management system and software). β€’ Project Management skills are a big plus. β€’ Working knowledge of NAVEX, more specifically PolicyTech a big plus. β€’ Computer proficiency required. β€’ MS Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio, OneDrive, and SharePoint (Classic & Cloud-based) experience required.
