Overview
Seeking a Data Movement Engineer to support and optimize enterprise ETL and Snowflake data environments. This role focuses on production support, data pipeline optimization, data modeling, troubleshooting, and Snowflake solution development.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, optimize, and support Snowflake ETL/data pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot data integrity, latency, and pipeline failures
• Support CDC, SCD Type 2, Data Vault, and dimensional modeling frameworks
• Develop high-performance SQL queries and scalable data models
• Provide production support for Snowflake, DB2, Airflow, and orchestration tools
• Perform data quality validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and application teams
• Support documentation, governance, CI/CD, and operational best practices
Required Skills
• 5+ years in data warehousing and Snowflake development
• Strong Snowflake, Talend, SQL, and ETL expertise
• Experience with Python/Shell scripting, Airflow, Git, Jira/ServiceNow
• Knowledge of Data Vault, CDC, SCD Type 2, and dimensional modeling
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and production support skills
