Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Westlake, TX. Requirements • Proven experience with Airflow, Spark, and Kubernetes • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, CFT or ARM for platform engineering • Solid grasp of RDBMS concepts and hands-on experience • Strong knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying containerized applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS • Expertise and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins • Experience with configuring alerts and monitors to create a highly available platform • Working understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS and Azure) • Strong programming skills in Python • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with evolving requirements • Strong communication and influencing skills Bonus Skills • Certification in public cloud (Azure or AWS) • API integration experience is a plus • Typescript programming is a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
