• Design, develop, and optimise data pipelines and ELT processes across multiple data sources and systems.
• Support the design and implementation of modern data platforms using Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric technologies.
• Contribute to data architecture, data modelling, and warehouse/lakehouse design decisions.
• Develop and maintain SQL and Python-based data solutions, automation, and transformation processes.
• Support semantic models, reporting datasets, and analytics requirements using Power BI where required.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable data solutions.
• Promote best practices across data engineering, governance, documentation, and performance optimisation.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric technologies.
• Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and data transformation.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data engineering workloads.
• Experience designing and delivering modern ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Good understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and analytics best practices.
• Experience supporting reporting and analytics requirements, ideally with Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to contribute to both engineering delivery and architecture discussions.
