Data Analytics Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract-to-Hire A Pomeroy client is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. We’re looking for someone with strong SQL development skills and hands-on experience building BI dashboards. Experience building in Sigma is a plus. This role is ideal for an analytics professional who enjoys working with data, partnering with stakeholders, and turning complex data into clear, actionable insights through effective reporting and visualization. What You'll Do • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data. • Design, build, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports using Sigma. • Translate business requirements into meaningful analytics and reporting solutions. • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting needs. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across dashboards and reports. • Troubleshoot and improve existing queries, dashboards, and reporting processes. • Communicate analytical findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences. What We're Looking For • Experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role. • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex datasets. • Hands-on experience building BI dashboards. • Solid understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
