Role description
Analytics Engineer Hybrid (3 days on site in Central London) £400-500p/d (Outside IR35) Role Overview We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to join a small, focused data team on a 6-month contract to rebuild reporting infrastructure and migrate from a legacy CRM system to a modern cloud data stack. This is a hands-on, scoped delivery role where you’ll own a defined workstream, working closely with analysts who hold the domain context and manage stakeholder relationships. You’ll bring build velocity to the intermediate and fact-layer modelling while reconciling historical legacy data into new formats. Technical Stack • Cloud Platform: GCP / BigQuery • Core Transformation Tool: dbt • Data Lineage / Catalog: Secoda, DataHub, or OpenMetadata (tool to be implemented) • Migration Project Experience: Legacy CRM system onto BigQuery & dbt Requirements • Must have: Production dbt experience, BigQuery/SQL proficiency, data migration/reconciliation experience, dimensional modelling (facts/dimensions, star schemas) • Nice to have: Legacy CRM familiarity (e.g., HubSpot), GCP platform experience, data lineage tool experience (Secoda, DataHub, OpenMetadata) This role is 3 days on-site in Central London with a start date of 22nd June.
