Pay Range: $65 - $70 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
β’ Key skills; SQL Stored Procedures
β’ Aurora Postgres
β’ AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda functions)
β’ Java API Development
β’ Basic Snowflake experience
β’ Disaster Recovery
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science (or closely related)
β’ 5+ years of experience in application and REST API development using Java
β’ Proven experience writing microservices with Java
β’ Strong in managing API to database connections using different relational database drivers (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
β’ Demonstrated experience developing, debugging and tuning complex SQL statements, PL/SQL packages and procedures
β’ Hands-on experience building highly resilient, scalable, and efficient solutions using AWS services like Lambda, Glue, step functions, etc.
β’ Hands-on experience with Aurora Postgres a big plus
β’ Experience with DevOps or CI/CD Pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Github, Ansible, etc.
β’ Experience in managing high volume customer-facing application traffic for APIβs
β’ Knowledge of Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS)
β’ Desire and ability to learn and implement new technologies
β’ Keen ability to see complex challenges from multiple perspectives, and leaning in to solve independently or with others
β’ Knowledge of how to develop highly scalable distributed systems using Open-Source technologies
β’ Proven knowledge of AWS via Associate, Professional, or Specialty Certification(s) a big plus
β’ Ability to validate, monitor, and solve issues during development, testing, or in production
β’ Excellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channels
