Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Movement Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Talend to support and enhance enterprise ETL and data warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and supporting Snowflake data pipelines, optimizing SQL performance, and providing production support. Experience with Data Vault 2.0 is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, optimize, and support Snowflake data pipelines and ETL processes using Talend.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to data integrity, performance, and pipeline failures.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, CDC, and SCD Type 2 implementations.
• Support Data Vault and dimensional data modeling.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Perform code reviews, documentation, and mentor junior team members.
• Participate in on-call production support as needed.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Snowflake development and data warehousing experience.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, Talend, SQL, and Python/Shell scripting.
• Experience with Data Vault 2.0 (highly preferred), CDC, SCD Type 2.
• Knowledge of Airflow, Git, ServiceNow/Jira, and cloud data platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
