The Role • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility. • Contribute to shaping the data engineering roadmap, aligning solutions with business priorities and technical strategies. • Optimise workflows using automation and best practices to enhance performance and cost efficiency. • Collaborate with Data Science, Insight, and Governance teams to enable data-driven decision-making. • Implement data governance and security standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. • Monitor the data pipeline lifecycle from design to post-deployment performance analysis. What You'll Need • Essential experience with MongoDB. • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and familiarity with tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow. • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. • Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts. • Knowledge of data governance and privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001). • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
