Overview
We are seeking a Privacy Compliance Engineer to partner with legal, privacy, and engineering teams to ensure systems and processes align with evolving privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role focuses on translating regulatory requirements into actionable technical implementations and driving compliance initiatives across infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to interpret and apply privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies
β’ Support the development of new privacy policies and implement associated processes and procedures
β’ Assess infrastructure and applications for compliance with evolving privacy requirements
β’ Identify compliance gaps and develop remediation and risk mitigation plans
β’ Translate legal and regulatory requirements into technical implementation plans
β’ Partner with engineering teams to support execution and ensure alignment with privacy standards
β’ Support compliance reporting, documentation, and audit-related activities
β’ Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to privacy compliance processes and controls
Minimum Qualifications
β’ 7+ years of experience in privacy compliance and/or privacy engineering
β’ Strong understanding of GDPR and CCPA regulations
β’ Experience conducting compliance assessments, audits, and risk evaluations
β’ Proficiency in reporting, analysis, and compliance documentation
β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Compliance, Data Privacy, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
β’ Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
β’ Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated environments
