Role description
Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer – Customer Data Platform (AEP) for a Contract role with a client in Akron, OH (Onsite). We’re ideally looking for an applicant with expertise in Customer Data Platform (AEP) and proficiency in AWS Redshift and other data warehousing technologies. Pay Range: $57-$60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Role Overview: β€’ We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in CDP and experience working across enterprise customer data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the data pipelines that power our customer 360 initiatives, enabling unified customer profiles, advanced segmentation, and personalized marketing experiences. This role requires strong technical experience in data engineering, identity resolution, and cloud data warehousing (Redshift). Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) tools such as Stibo or Informatica, and integration experience with external identity vendors (e.g., Epsilon, LiveRamp) is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and unify customer data within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). β€’ Enable Customer 360 view by integrating multiple first party and third-party data sources. β€’ Implement and optimize identity resolution processes within AEP and through external vendors (e.g., Epsilon, LiveRamp, etc.). β€’ Collaborate with data architects, marketers, and analysts to support data activation and personalization initiatives. β€’ Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). β€’ Work closely with data modeling, profile stitching, and segmentation components in AEP’s Real-Time CDP. β€’ Build and optimize queries, ETL/ELT workflows, and transformations using AWS Redshift and related services. β€’ Integrate and synchronize customer data between AEP, MDM systems (Stibo, Informatica), and other enterprise systems. β€’ Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, CRM, Analytics, and Engineering) to ensure data readiness for downstream use cases. β€’ Monitor data quality, lineage, and performance across the customer data ecosystem. Required Qualifications: β€’ 6+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development. β€’ Hands-on experience with CDP - particularly Real-Time CDP, Data Ingestion, Identity Service, and Segmentation Service. β€’ Strong SQL and data modeling skills, proficiency in AWS Redshift and other data warehousing technologies. β€’ Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Airflow, Glue, Informatica, or equivalent. β€’ Understanding of Customer 360 frameworks, identity graphs, and data enrichment concepts. β€’ Experience with API integrations and working with third-party identity or enrichment providers (Epsilon, LiveRamp, etc.). β€’ Familiarity with MDM systems (e.g., Stibo, Informatica MDM) and their integration patterns. β€’ Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and privacy compliance in customer data environments. β€’ Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages: Python, Scala, or Java.
