We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and optimise scalable data pipelines supporting workflow data platforms. The role will focus on ensuring high-quality, reliable, and accessible data for analytics and AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Integrate data from multiple operational and workflow systems.
• Build and optimise cloud-based data platforms and architectures.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.
• Support AI and analytics teams with reliable data infrastructure.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues.
• Collaborate across engineering, analytics, and business teams.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with SQL and Python for data engineering.
• Experience with ETL tools and data orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based data architectures.
• Understanding of data modelling and database design principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Desirable Skills
• Experience supporting AI or machine learning workloads.
• Knowledge of streaming data technologies.
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
