Your new role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role within a multidisciplinary Agile team delivering advanced analytics and reporting solutions. You'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, supporting dashboard development, and carrying out exploratory data analysis to drive meaningful insights.
Working across both data engineering and analytics, you'll ensure high-quality, reusable data solutions while collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and design specialists. You will also contribute to modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, and test-driven development, helping to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
• Strong experience in Python and PySpark
• Proven ability to build and maintain data pipelines and datasets
• Experience with exploratory data analysis and analytics workflows
• Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks, Redshift or similar
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to identify and manage data quality risks
Desirable:
• Experience working within the public sector or healthcare environments
• Knowledge of large-scale data platforms and regulated data environments
