Data Engineer (AI) Talent Pool
In anticipation of upcoming client needs with one of our premier management consulting firms, we are building a talent community of Data Engineers who are passionate about delivering high-quality services. If you are interested in becoming part of this community and want to be the first to hear about upcoming project opportunities, please express interest in this role and provide your relevant experience, availability, and desired hourly rate for projects similar to the description below.
Availability: We are expecting the first projects to start in early April on a rolling basis.
Contract: Project durations will vary based on client needs.
Locations: Project locations will vary across the US, including remote but must reside in the US.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed
Overview:
Laying the groundwork for data analysis and experimentation, youβll guide clients through the digital landscape with a sharp eye on whatβs important for them. Youβll clean, transform, and aggregate data; compile and install database systems; write complex queries; scale to multiple machines; and put disaster-recovery systems in place.
Qualifications:
You have an advanced degree in computer science (or the equivalent) and a passion for big-data technologies. Youβll also bring:
β’ hands-on experience in building data solutions for advanced analytics
β’ deep knowledge of big-data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
β’ solid programming skills in Python, Java, SQL querying, and Scala
β’ familiarity with advanced-analytics tools, such as Anaconda or Spark for machine learning
β’ excellent collaboration and communication skillsβwith teams and clients alike
β’ intellectual curiosity and a willingness to work outside your comfort zone
