Data Engineer

Fully Remote - Data Engineer (Databricks / Azure) – Contract to Hire - USA Based! Must be USA Citizen. We’re working with a Fortune 200 organisation in the energy sector that’s investing heavily in data and AI to transform how they drive commercial growth. This is not a typical data engineering role. You’ll be building AI-driven data applications used directly by sales teams to improve lead generation and revenue - meaning your work will have clear, visible impact across the business. What You’ll Be Doing • Building and optimising data pipelines using Databricks • Developing large-scale data processing solutions with PySpark / Python • Working across Azure data services in a modern cloud environment • Supporting the development of AI / GenAI-driven applications • Collaborating with business and sales stakeholders to deliver real-world solutions • Owning delivery end-to-end - from design through to deployment What They’re Looking For • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (essential) • Solid PySpark / Python data engineering skills • Experience working within Azure • Proven track record building data pipelines / ETL solutions Nice to Have • Exposure to GenAI / LLMs or AI-driven applications Fast Process - no lengthy, multi-round delays.
