Role description
Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS Redshift.
β’ Optimize and manage Redshift clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
β’ Implement data models and schemas to support business intelligence and analytics.
β’ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
β’ Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution.
β’ Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and architecture.
β’ Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and AWS technologies.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain reports using Tibco Spotfire
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
β’ Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on AWS Redshift.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
β’ Strong proficiency in Tibco Spotfire.
β’ Experience with ETL tools and processes.
β’ Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue.
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
β’ Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
β’ Knowledge on CICD process
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Big Data Specialty).
β’ Experience with other data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
β’ Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
β’ Understanding of data governance and security practices.
