Data Engineer

Job Summary Ability to collaborate with other developers and co-workers including distributed team members. Agile/Scrum experience or basic knowledge location: Smithfield, Rhode Island job type: Contract salary: $72 - 73 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics required with +10 years' experience; Master's degree preferred • Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Airflow • Understanding of working with relational databases and familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica is preferred. • Ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles. • Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools • Demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions. Qualifications Analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and comfortable in summarizing technical information.
