Role description
This is an 18-month initial contract for a well-regarded private equity firm.
This is an Outside IR35 Position.
Spearhead the greenfield development of a cloud data warehouse and portfolio monitoring platform utilizing Azure and Databricks. This initiative automates manual Excel workflows into robust, auditable pipelines, creating a foundational tech stack to support future fund launches.
You’re going to be a senior member of the team, and with that in mind, you’ll need to have the following:
• Excellent Azure Knowledge
• Databricks Knowledge
• Understanding of medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) lakehouse
• Finance experience, ideally Private Equity but if not Asset/Investment management
• Strong overall data engineering ability - SQL & Python (PySpark) Skills extremely helpful
