Rate: $65 - $69 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
The Data Platform Chapter in WI Technology organization is seeking an individual who can blend data engineering, cloud, and data movement expertise to build and maintain the Eligibility Platform. In this role, proficiency with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL with strong experience in writing queries and tuning queries is must. Experience in one of the Cloud providers [Azure, AWS] is required. Experience in Cloud Based Data Ingestion tools like Azure Data Factory would be nice to have. Hands on experience in Snowflake database will be added advantage. We are looking for candidate with strong problem-solving capabilities and experience in designing.
The Data Engineer will play active role in solution design, systems analysis, solution implementation co-ordination across multiple teams, solving key technical challenges and mentoring the junior developers in the team.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics required with +10 yearsβ experience; Masterβs degree preferred
β’ Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Airflow
β’ Understanding of working with relational databases and familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica is preferred.
β’ Ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles.
β’ Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools
β’ Demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions.
β’ Analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and comfortable in summarizing technical information.
β’ Ability to collaborate with other developers and co-workers including distributed team members.
β’ Agile/Scrum experience or basic knowledge
