Role description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions that support analytics and business insights. This role requires strong expertise in modern data platforms, distributed processing, and cloud technologies, along with the ability to work in a client-facing, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks • Process and analyze large datasets using distributed technologies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver data solutions • Optimize performance across data platforms, including Databricks and Kafka • Implement best practices in data modeling, warehousing, and governance • Support global delivery efforts and coordinate with offshore teams Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Hive, SQL, and Python • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • Knowledge of MPP data warehouses (e.g., Redshift) • Exposure to Databricks and large-scale data processing • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts • Strong communication and client-facing skills
