Long term contract
Hybrid - 3 days onsite / week (Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is onsite, and Monday, Friday is remote)

Client is looking for any Data Candidate coming from strong Legal tech background whether they are Data Engineer or Data Analyst or Data Architect.
Job details:
• 10+ years of experience delivering data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence solutions in legal, corporate, and highly regulated environments.
• Expertise in Legal Matter Management systems, eBilling platforms, legal spend analysis, matter lifecycle management, invoice validation, accrual reporting, request management, and legal operations analytics.
• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration frameworks, and cloud-based data architectures to support enterprise reporting and AI initiatives.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for data extraction, transformation, automation, optimization, analytics, and machine learning applications.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, and Azure-based data platforms.
• Build semantic layer and executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational reporting solutions using Business Objects, Tableau.
• Implement data governance, master data management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality frameworks to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Support legal, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders with actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and generative AI technologies to automate workflows, enhance analytics, improve documentation, and increase productivity.
• Lead data cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and root-cause analysis initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and business confidence.
• Ensure adherence to information security, privacy regulations, and governance standards for sensitive legal and corporate data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and modern data engineering practices to deliver scalable, business-focused solutions.
• Drive process improvement, automation, cloud migration, and enterprise data transformation initiatives that reduce manual effort and accelerate analytics capabilities.
• Develop AI-ready datasets by ensuring data completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, and governance compliance across enterprise data ecosystems.
• Experience with legal technology platforms including TeamConnect, Litify, Onit, and other Legal Matter Management and eBilling solutions.
• Expert in data modeling and architecture best practices, designing scalable conceptual, logical, and physical data models, dimensional schemas, and governed data structures that enable high-performance analytics, business intelligence, and AI-ready data platforms.
Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
