Role description
Reporting and Analytics Engineer – Contract
Location: Warwick – hybrid
Day Rate: £370 per day
Duration: Initial 6-month contract
Working Pattern: One day per week onsite
We are looking for a hands-on Reporting and Analytics Engineer (Data Engineer) with strong Power BI, SQL and data engineering experience.
The successful candidate will design and deliver modern enterprise reporting solutions while supporting the development of reusable Data Products, analytical datasets and scalable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop enterprise reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Build scalable semantic models, datasets and dashboards.
• Develop reports aligned with business KPIs and operational requirements.
• Improve reporting performance, usability and visualisation standards.
• Define and operationalise reusable Data Products.
• Integrate reporting and analytical solutions with Snowflake.
• Support the development of ELT and ETL pipelines.
• Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks.
• Work with DataOps.live and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Essential Experience
• Strong hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Snowflake.
• Azure Data Factory.
• DataOps.live.
• Data modelling and semantic model development.
• ETL and ELT tools and frameworks.
• Python or another relevant programming language.
• Understanding of modern Data Product concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with real-time or streaming architectures and relevant Power BI, Azure or Snowflake certifications would be beneficial.
