NEED LOCALS ONLY - Denver, CO Top Skills Needed Minimum 12 years of experience required... • Microsoft Fabric • Databricks • Python / SQL • Medallion Architecture • Very Sr. 10+ years General Purpose The Data Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, testing, implementing and maintaining database code, data transformation, and data pipeline. Essential Functions • Works on projects that will involve writing Microsoft Fabric, T-SQL code, Python, Databricks and Azure Data Factory. • Expertise in Medallion Architecture and Databricks. • Implements data management and data cleansing processes to improve the quality of data. • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of data and applications through detailed system analysis, efficient coding and prompt identification, and resolution of problems as they arise. • Creates and modifies database objects such as tables, views, functions, stored procedures, and triggers. • Using CI/CD processes, performs code migration, database change management, DevOps and MLOps and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle. • Assists in implementing the data strategy and helping to construct, deliver, and maintain reporting data architecture. • Facilitates data design and management for effective analytics. • Provides complex reporting and analysis of the data, using a combination of the data warehouse and reporting tools. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities • Ability to write code to customize or create new integration programs needed to facilitate data architecture and ETL from disparate data sources. • Knowledgeable in multiple BI platforms while working to implement vendor solutions. • Familiarity with Azure Data Fabric, Purview a plus.
