Role description
As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the operations department supporting data analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Denver, Colorado (onsite) Pay Range: $40-$45/hour based on experience • No 3rd parties or C2C, please • • What's the Job? • Collaborate with the BI team and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Create or update SSIS packages to extract data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Develop and maintain tabular models using SSAS to support business intelligence needs. • Design and implement Power BI dashboards to visualize data insights for diverse audiences. • Assist with the rollout of Microsoft Fabric, including adding or updating pipelines within a medallion architecture framework. What's Needed? • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence design and delivery. • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Report Services (SSRS), and Power BI. • Strong skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques. • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure integrations is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
